MindWELL Psychotherapy may have the answers

Our first session will be spent getting to know one another, discussing what’s led you to therapy, and giving you an opportunity to ask me questions, share your story, what you are hoping to heal and accomplish. Next will we will establish your designated day and time to meet weekly. Sessions are a combination of conversation and intervention as we talk about the events in your life to uncover the patterns that may no longer serve you.

We'll talk about what you hope to change and your feelings, we’ll look at old issues with a new and compassionate lens to uncover root cause, limited beliefs, unconscious behaviours. I'll offer tools and strategies at your first session that you can implement. I’ll recommend resources, exercises or books to read and may offer referrals that may be helpful to you. Most of all, I will hold a safe space for you to practice being who you want to be.

I meet with clients weekly and each session lasts for 50 minutes. This schedule maximizes the impact of the work and really allows us to make progress toward your therapeutic goals. The minimum duration recommended is 8-12 sessions for targeted issues. However, many clients prefer to do deeper work and commit to longer periods of time.

Life happens. I am happy to reschedule your appointment to a suitable time. My cancellation policy is detailed in your intake paperwork and I'm always happy to answer any questions you may have.
